Kathryn’s lifelong passion for dance began with her training at the Arts Educational School (now Tring Park) and later at the Royal Academy of Dance. Her dedication and expertise are the driving force behind KR Dance’s commitment to excellence.
Under Kathryn’s leadership, the school consistently achieves outstanding exam results and delivers performances that celebrate every student’s talent.
Known for her warm and encouraging presence, Kathryn creates a supportive environment while upholding the highest standards of teaching. She leads
our Graded Ballet classes and supports the Vocational Ballet programme.
Amely is a qualified and Registered Teacher and Examiner with the Royal Academy of Dance. She is also an External Examiner for a leading London dance college and an Associate Lecturer at Falmouth University, where she teaches on the Dance & Choreography and Musical Theatre degrees. At KR Dance, Amely leads our Wednesday Vocational classes and provides exam coaching when needed. Her teaching combines strong technical focus and precision with humour, musicality, and encouragement — creating a challenging yet supportive environment where serious dancers can thrive.
Clare graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance in 1998 with a BA (Hons) and Licentiate of the RAD, as well as Associate status with the ISTD. She went on to teach Ballet, Modern, Tap, and Jazz in London before opening her own successful school, Hamilton Dance.
Since moving back to Cornwall in 2017, Clare has brought her wealth of experience to KR Dance, teaching students from toddlers to adults. She is passionate about nurturing confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of dance in every pupil.
